WEAT-NTS Scholarship

WEAT-NTS Scholarship Criteria

The Scholarship Committee will use the following criteria in the selection of scholarship recipients:

Preference will be given to those students who are members of NTS-WEAT or children/dependents of NTS-WEAT members.
Preference will be given to those students in the following type of degree programs: Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Sciences. Other degree programs are not excluded from consideration
Preference will be given to, A) Those students that maintain a high grade point average and B) Those students that have a high SAT/ACT (or other standard admissions test) score.
Preference may be given to those students who have demonstrated special accomplishments or achievements and/or who have demonstrated active participation in community service activities.
Preference may be given to those students who have shown leadership abilities in extra curricular activities.

Submit an application to WEAT-NTS for receipt not later than 5:00 p.m. on August 13, 2010. This is necessary to allow time for proper review and presentation of the award prior to the start of the fall collegiate semester. Click here for the Scholarship Application.

Daryl Hall Scholarship Criteria

Scholarship assistance is paid to recipients in one installment. Re-application to the Daryl Hall Scholarship is required for fall or spring semesters.

The Scholarship Committee will use the following criteria in the selection of scholarship recipients:

Preference shall be given to those recipients pursuing a
2-year college degree program.
Preference may be given to degree programs or technical courses in fields directly relative to water and wastewater treatment.
Preference shall be given to those that maintain a high grade point average.
Preference may be given to those recipients who have demonstrated special accomplishments or achievements.
Preference may be given to those recipients who have demonstrated active participation in community service activities.
